Bookkeeping for online sellers
Reconcile payouts, track inventory and charge the right sales tax, without drowning in transactions.
Why ecommerce books are hard
- A single bank deposit is a payout bundling many orders, refunds, fees and taxes.
- Platform fees, shipping and ad spend must be separated from sales.
- Inventory and cost of goods sold decide your real margin.
- Sales go to several provinces and countries, each with different tax rules.
- Multi-currency sales need exchange-rate handling.
What we do
- Connect your store and payment platforms so each payout reconciles to the underlying orders.
- Record fees, refunds, chargebacks and shipping accurately.
- Track inventory and cost of goods sold so margins are real.
- Calculate and file GST/QST, including sales to customers in other provinces.
- Handle USD and other currencies.
- Prepare monthly statements and coordinate your annual return.
Sales tax: what to watch
Whether you must register depends on where your customers are and how much you sell. The small-supplier threshold is $30,000 over four consecutive calendar quarters, but out-of-province sellers with Quebec customers, digital products and marketplace sales have their own rules. Our GST/QST guide explains the basics, and we confirm the rest for your store. Selling into the US can also trigger state sales tax obligations, which are separate.

FAQ
Can you reconcile my Shopify and Stripe payouts?
Yes. We match each payout to its orders, fees and refunds so your bank balance and sales reports agree.
Do I need to register for GST/QST?
Generally once taxable sales exceed $30,000 over four consecutive calendar quarters, though some situations require registration sooner. We confirm for your store.
Do you track inventory?
Yes. We track inventory and cost of goods sold so your margins reflect what products really cost.
