Your accounting office, entirely online

No office visits, no paper. Send documents from your phone, meet by video and sign electronically, wherever you are in Canada.

In short We run as a virtual accounting office: you share documents securely, we keep your books and file your returns, and we meet by video. Repetitive steps are automated so more of our time goes to reviewing your numbers and advising you.

How a virtual office works

  1. Free 20-minute call. We learn about your business and tell you what it will cost, in writing, before you commit.
  2. Secure document sharing. You upload slips, statements and receipts from your phone or computer. We tell you exactly what we need, and send reminders so nothing stalls.
  3. We work in your books. For bookkeeping clients we work in your QuickBooks Online file as your accountant, so you can see everything we do.
  4. Monthly close and review. We reconcile accounts, check for errors and unusual items, and send reports you can read.
  5. Video calls. We walk through the numbers, answer questions and plan ahead, scheduled to your time zone.
  6. Electronic signing and filing. You approve and sign electronically, and we file with the CRA and, for Quebec residents, Revenu Québec.

What you do, and what we do

You: share documents, answer the occasional question and approve what we prepare.

We: record and reconcile transactions, file GST/HST/QST, run payroll, prepare corporate and personal returns, watch deadlines and explain your results.

Automation, with a person responsible

We automate the repetitive parts of the work: document reminders, suggested categories, month-end checks that flag duplicates, unfinished entries and unusual amounts. A person reviews everything before it reaches you or a tax authority. Automation finds the issues faster; judgment and sign-off stay with your accountant.

Hours and time zones

We are available Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern. Calls are scheduled to your time zone, from Newfoundland to British Columbia and the territories. Support, reports and calls are available in English and French.

Privacy

We handle your information under Canadian privacy law, including Quebec’s Law 25. Only the people working on your file have access, and our engagement letter states how your documents and data are used and kept.

Serving every province

Sales tax, payroll and corporate-tax rules differ by province, and we set up each file around yours. See the Canada-wide page for what changes in each province, or pricing for plans.

FAQ

Do I ever need to visit an office?

No. Documents, calls and signatures are all online. Clients across Canada work with us the same way.

Who reviews my books and returns?

A tax professional reviews every return, and our team reviews your books each month. Automated checks help find issues, but people sign off.

Can you work in my existing QuickBooks file?

Yes. Invite us as your accountant and we work in your file, so you keep full access and visibility.
